Rick and Mick held an assembly, “Attitude Check,” at Minor High School on today. What a BLAST!! Minor High School is comprised of approximately1400 students. We have various socioeconomic backgrounds. Our school is comprised of approximately 35% free and reduced students. Our racial breakdown is 60% black and 40% white.
Rick and Mick touched each facet of our school today. My students thoroughly enjoyed the program and their presentation. It is not often that I allow programs at Minor High School whenever their schedule will allow. We had students who were moved to laughter, to tears, to joy, and seeds were planted for a bright tomorrow. Their unique presentation was a breath of fresh air. Students are still talking about this presentation. If you have the opportunity to have Rick and Mick make their presentation at your school, don’t miss this opportunity.
